Steico fix 100 mm - wood fiber insulation wedge for window sills

Wood fiber insulation wedge for window sills for applying a second sealing layer under the window sill. Reliable protection from driving rain and drifting snow. Permanent security for window sill connections and open to diffusion. Bonding with Steico joint sealant multi fill. Bonding in the connection area with Steico Tape F 20/40 or Tape black high-performance adhesive tape with special fleece.

With the sealing system, Steico solves two problems in solid mineral construction. The thermal bridge optimization of the under-window sill insulation and the stability of the ETICS thermal insulation composite system through the second water-bearing level. The combination of the hydrophobic wood fiber insulation wedge with technically complementary products results in a system that meets all requirements. Wood fiber insulation wedge offers long-lasting security for window sill connections, e.g. with WDVS, thermal insulation composite systems in timber construction. Can be exposed to the weather for up to 4 weeks. Undercutting of the film coating must be prevented.

Suitable for all window sills such as aluminum or stone and granite.
